Winners

Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash:
This is a wonderful product for any budget. It also can be used with basically any degree of acne. Oil is removed with the wash. Use it twice a day. It may leave your skin a small bit dry. Oil-free moisturizer will correct this. In about a week, users could tell there was improvement. This happened over a period of time. Totally clear skin is only achievable for some using only the wash. There will be a noticeable difference if you have very bad acne. Clearing up mild to moderate acne can be achieved with the wash.

Proactiv:
We put this product in our stars acne product reviews because when it works, it works like a charm. Many swear by Proactive – and we aren’t talking about all the stars in the commercials. But there are some very mixed reviews about Proactive. Mild to moderate acne is easily treated with this product. Severe acne really may not respond too well. Proactiv kills the bacteria in your pores that cause acne. This medication has has been very successful and will work fast as long as there isn’t too much bacteria. This is why sometimes severe acne is too much for this product. Also, once your skin is clear you have to keep using this product or all the bacteria will come back.

Stinkers

Clear and Continuous Control Acne Cleanser:
This facial cleanser is really good. When you wash your face, it feels all cool and tingly. However, its not very good for acne. Even though it felt really good, it barely worked. This product seems to work on those who get regular breakouts and not acne. It is on our “stinkers” list because it does not live up to the “acne cleanser” part of its name.

Murad Acne Treatments:
Murad is a fantastic cosmetics and beauty product company. However, it seems that they should have steered clear of acne products. This companies acne products seem to make the problem worse for most people. The good thing is that they have a money-back guarantee, but while waiting on your refund, you may experience some pretty serious image issues. If you really want to give this product a try use it carefully.

There are many more acne treatments available. They were just the treatments that seemed to stand above the rest. We hope our acne product reviews will help you find the right product for you.
